One day I asked Mother Nature: “Mother Nature, I have been considerate, and faithful, and kind. But I got covered skies and tricky deer 6 times already, in different places. Would it be possible to give me LIGHT and COLD weather and DEER at the same time?” And Mother Nature answered: “I’ll give you the LIGHT of the morning sunrays, the COLD weather of an autumn day and the DEER of a royal court.” And that’s all she did. As simple as that:)

Kirsten Piil´s Spring is known by the water of spring. It was believed that spring water has healing powers. It was used to bath and drink by Danes in prehistoric Denmark. According to a legend, a devout woman named Kirsten Piil found a spring with particular healing powers in 1583. The deer park is an area spanning from the Kirsten Piil entrance to the Hermitage Plain and beyond. Kirsten Piil was and is part of the deer park (Jægersborg Dyrehave in Klampenborg).
