Description
According to Tibetan texts, in Buryatia and Mongolia there are five main “subdaks” - places where the main spirits live. The most northern of them is Mount Barkhan-Uula, which guards Buddhist reading from the north. Believed, that only people leading a righteous lifestyle can see a huge image of Buddha on the rocks of this mountain.
