On another walk through the restored oak savanna at Our Lady of Guadalupe, this oak caught my eye. It stood still and silent, in the slumber of winter, awaiting its own resurrection. Walking through the forest, what we call a miracle, seems only natural. The still wet grass was a brilliant brown color and an occasional bird chirped into the stillness.
